The Global SMATV 5CH Master Controller (SMC) is designed to control up to 5 digiboxes typically as part of the digital upgrade to a SMATV headend.
The SMC uses the tvLINK technology to control each digibox directly via the RF2 output. During set-up the digiboxes can be controlled either individually or on block.
The SMC can be locked with a pin number so as to prevent unauthorised use. In the situation where digiboxes have either lost audio or video or have gone into ‘stand-by’ typically after a power out or after an ‘over the air update’ the SMC resets each digibox back to the pre-set channel, so reducing service calls.
Controls up to 5 Digiboxes via the RF2 output and is water resistant.
